Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How can I reach you?
A: You can contact us by texting (909) 855-2892, emailing yoga@tulariverside.com or DMing us via Instagram (@tulayoga.studio). If we are not available immediately, we will always do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.
Q: Do I need to sign up for class in advance?
A: Yes. Please sign up prior to class through the MINDBODY system. Enrolling ahead of time will ensure that there is enough room and equipment for everyone. If you are unable to attend class, make sure to cancel your reservation prior to the reservation cutoff time to allow a chance for those on the wait list to attend. If you have any further questions about signing up, please contact the studio.
Q: What do I need to bring with me?
A: You’ll want to bring your own yoga mat. We offer Manduka eKO mats to rent for $3. We also have mats for sale ranging from $84-185 depending on brand and style. If you go out to buy one, prioritize one with a grip and that isn’t too thick. We strongly discourage use of the thick pads made for gym floors. All classes are done barefoot. Yoga socks with a grip are welcome. We have blocks (foam & cork), blanket, bolsters and straps available for public use. You are welcome to bring props from home if you’d like for your practice. You’ll want to bring a hand towel for your sweat & to wipe up around your mat. There is a reverse osmosis water dispenser available to our clients. Please feel free to fill up your water bottle. We also have mat cleaner spray available to use. We do have a restroom for our clients. You are welcome to use the restroom to change clothes before or after class. On your first visit, you’ll want to arrive at least 5-10 minutes before class starts so we can show you around quickly. We strongly encourage you to sign up via the website beforehand. This will make for a smoother process when you arrive.
Q: What if I am Late?
A: Should you be late (less than 10 minutes) please enter class quietly…respect your neighbor and their practice. No late entries after 10 minutes past the class start time.
In the event that class is at maxed/full capacity, your space will be forfeited at the class start time.
Q: I have never practiced yoga before. Can I still come to class?
A: Of course! We have made the names and class descriptions new student friendly so you can find a class appropriate to your level. We encourage all those new to yoga to check out Yin Yoga & Beginner Yoga classes. Please get to class 5-10 minutes early to inform the instructor of any injuries or limitations. We also have private lessons available, which are a great way for beginners to feel more confident before joining group classes.

Q: Where can I park when I am at the studio?
A: We have a lot behind our studio available to our clients. The entrance is off 5th Street (before Hyatt Place), you will see a ticket machine with our name listed on the list of businesses in the same building. You will want to take a white ticket, we encourage you to leave this in your car so it is not misplaced.
We offer validation in this lot for $1 for 90 minutes or $3 for 3 hours. There is a $2 fee for every 30 minutes over the validation time and there is no grace period. You will want to buy the validation ticket in the studio before class begins. Upon exiting, you will first scan the entry ticket then the validation tickets. Validation tickets are one time use and do not expire. The cost for lost entry tickets is $20.
The lot is NOT owned or operated by Tula Yoga. If you need assistance, hit the SILVER CALL BUTTON on the bottom right of the pay station to speak with the property manager.

Q: What if I have an injury?
A: You are not alone. Many of us are coming to yoga after sustaining injuries in order to build strength and rehabilitate our bodies. First of all, check with the appropriate medical professionals to make sure that yoga is safe for you and inquire whether there are certain types of movements that you should avoid. You are always welcome to inform the instructor before class of your specific injury and possible limitations. We love to know those things and will help you as best we can, however, we are not physicians or physical therapists. Keep in mind that our studio classes are group classes, so every instructor is working to provide a balanced class for all in attendance. Therefore, we encourage all of our students to listen to their bodies. Students are encouraged to modify or skip poses if necessary and to take breaks as often as they need. If you would like to learn specific modifications for your injury we highly recommend taking a private session or two, then you can take those modifications into your next group class.
Q: How do I cancel my membership?
A: Our front desk team will be happy to help and may even have suggestions on how to get the most out of your yoga journey. For cancellations, we do require you email yoga@tulariverside.com 3 DAYS (72 HOURS) before your upcoming billing date. Failure to cancel before the 3 DAY window will result in a monthly charge. Monthly AUTO-RENEW charges are NON-REFUNDABLE.

A: Workshops can be fully refunded if canceled 24 hours after purchase. After this time, you will be fully charged for the workshop. Workshop reservations can be cancelled 24 hours before the set start time, a credit for the amount paid will be applied to your account for future workshops.
