CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
We are dedicated to improving the overall lives of all of our clients. Every week we offer over 40 classes ranging from gentle beginner to hot power yoga. Check out our weekly schedule for time, style, temperature and instructor.

RESTORATIVE YOGA

Restorative Yoga offers a deeply relaxing practice designed to promote rest and recovery. Students settle into gentle, supported postures using props such as bolsters, blankets, and blocks. Poses are typically held for longer periods of time, allowing the body and nervous system to relax while encouraging deeper breathing and stillness. This floor-based class is slow, calming, and accessible for anyone seeking relaxation, stress relief, or recovery from more active practices.

• No yoga experience needed. • Temperature range: 75–80°


YIN YOGA

Yin Yoga focuses on long, slow, and deep stretches designed to improve flexibility and support joint mobility. This mostly floor-based class targets connective tissues such as ligaments, fascia, and joints by holding poses for extended periods of time. Props may be used to support comfort and relaxation while students settle into each posture. Yin offers a slower, meditative approach to movement and is a great complement to more active yoga practices.

No yoga experience needed. • Temperature range: 78–82°


CHAIR Yoga

Chair Yoga is a gentle practice in which postures are performed while seated and/or with the support of a chair. This class is designed for those with limited range of motion or anyone looking for a slower, supportive approach to movement. When standing poses are included, the chair helps improve stability and balance. Additional props may be offered to support students in poses. These classes are slow, approachable, and supportive for students of many abilities.

No yoga experience needed. • Temperature range: 75-80°


GENTLE Beginner Yoga

Gentle Beginner Yoga classes provide a slower-paced introduction to yoga while still offering a moderate physical challenge. Students explore a variety of accessible poses including seated, supine, prone, and standing postures designed to improve body awareness, range of motion, and overall strength. The use of props is encouraged to help support comfort and alignment. This class includes opportunities for rest, and students are encouraged to move at a pace that feels right for their body.

No yoga experience needed. • Temperature range: 76–80°


Beginner Yoga

Beginner Yoga classes offer a physical challenge while remaining approachable for newer students. A variety of yoga poses are practiced, including core work, standing balance poses, chaturangas, and other strength-based movements, pieced together to challenge, strengthen, and nurture the body. The use of props is offered and encouraged to support students in poses. Students are always encouraged to take breaks and modify according to their personal needs.

No yoga experience needed. • Temperature range: 76–80°


Yoga Para Principiantes (en español)

Las clases de Yoga para Principiantes ofrecen un desafío físico accesible mientras fortalecen el cuerpo y la mente. Durante la clase se practican posturas de yoga que pueden incluir trabajo de abdomen, equilibrio, chaturangas y otros movimientos de fuerza que ayudan a desarrollar estabilidad y resistencia. Se utilizan accesorios para apoyar la alineación y facilitar cada postura. Se anima a los estudiantes a escuchar su cuerpo, tomar descansos y adaptar la práctica según sus necesidades.

YOGA FOUNDATIONS

Yoga Foundations focuses on building a deeper understanding of common yoga postures and alignment principles. Students move at a slower pace while exploring foundational poses and learning how to engage the body safely and effectively. Instructors break down movements, offer alignment cues, and provide modifications to support different bodies and experience levels. This class is ideal for beginners as well as students who want to refine their technique and build confidence in their practice.

Some yoga experience helpful, but not required. • Temperature range: 78–82°


HOT BEGINNER YOGA

Hot Beginner Yoga classes offer an approachable introduction to practicing yoga in a heated room while providing a moderate physical challenge. Students move through foundational yoga poses including standing balance work, core strengthening, and introductory chaturangas. The heated environment helps warm the muscles and support mobility while students build strength, stability, and confidence in their practice. Props are offered and encouraged to support students in poses. Students are always encouraged to take breaks and modify as needed.

Some general fitness experience recommended. • Temperature range: 90°+


SCULPT 45

Sculpt 45 is a shorter, efficient strength-focused class designed to tone and strengthen the entire body. Using equipment such as hand weights, resistance bands, magic circles, sliders, and exercise balls, students move through targeted strength exercises combined with yoga-inspired movement. This class offers a focused workout while still encouraging mindful breathing and safe movement patterns. Students are encouraged to work at their own pace and modify exercises when needed.

SCULPT YOGA 60

Sculpt Yoga combines traditional yoga poses with strength training to create a balanced full-body workout. Students use equipment such as hand weights, resistance bands, magic circles, sliders, and exercise balls while moving through dynamic sequences designed to build strength, stability, and endurance. Classes may include core work and light cardio intervals while maintaining a connection to breath and mindful movement. Students are encouraged to move at their own pace and modify exercises as needed.

• Some yoga or fitness experience recommended.  • Temperature range: 85–90°


HOT SCULPT YOGA 60/75

Hot Sculpt Yoga combines strength training and yoga-inspired movement in a heated room to create a powerful full-body workout. Students use equipment such as hand weights, resistance bands, magic circles, sliders, and exercise balls while moving through dynamic sequences that build strength, stability, and endurance. Cardio intervals and core work may also be incorporated throughout class. Students are encouraged to move at their own pace, take breaks when needed, and modify exercises to support their bodies.

Some yoga or fitness experience recommended. • Temperature range: 90°+


POWER YOGA 60 (NON-HEATED)

Power Yoga 60 (Non-Heated) offers a dynamic, strength-building yoga practice in a comfortable, non-heated environment. Students move through breath-connected sequences designed to build strength, stability, and mobility while exploring standing balance poses, core work, and strength-based transitions. Instructors provide options to support different experience levels while encouraging students to challenge themselves and move with awareness. Students are encouraged to take breaks and modify poses as needed.

POWER YOGA 45/75

Power Yoga offers a dynamic practice designed to build strength, endurance, and focus. Students move through breath-driven sequences that may include longer holds, standing balance work, core strengthening, and opportunities to explore arm balances or inversions. The longer format allows more time to deepen the practice, build heat in the body, and develop both physical and mental resilience. Students are encouraged to take breaks and modify poses as needed.

• Yoga experience recommended. • Temperature range: 85-90°


HOT POWER YOGA 60/75

Hot Power Yoga classes offer a strong physical and mental challenge in a heated room. Students move through a dynamic, breath-driven practice designed to build strength, stability, and endurance. Classes may include faster-paced sequences, longer holds, core work, and opportunities to explore arm balances or inversions. Instructors provide options to support different experience levels while encouraging students to challenge themselves safely. Students are encouraged to take breaks and modify when needed.

• Yoga experience strongly recommended. • Temperature range: 90°+


ADVANCED YOGA

Advanced Yoga classes are designed for experienced students looking to explore more challenging postures, transitions, and longer holds. Students are guided through a dynamic practice that builds strength, balance, mobility, and control while offering opportunities to explore inversions, arm balances, and deeper variations of familiar poses. Instructors provide guidance and options, encouraging students to challenge themselves while maintaining awareness and safety in their practice. Students are encouraged to take breaks and modify as needed.

• Yoga experience required. • Temperature range: 88°+


ASHTANGA PRIMARY SERIES

The Led Ashtanga Primary Series class follows a traditional sequence of asanas (poses) and vinyasas (breath-to-movement transitions). Each posture includes a drishti (focused gaze) and bandha (energy lock) to help cultivate concentration, stability, and a meditative state of movement. The instructor guides students through the sequence by calling the pose names and counts, creating a rhythmic and focused practice. Known as Yoga Chikitsa (yoga therapy), the purpose of the Primary Series is to cleanse and strengthen the body while calming the mind. Props and modifications may be offered to support students as they develop their practice.

SELF PRACTICE (MEMBERS ONLY)

Our Self Practice sessions offer members a quiet, supportive space to move, breathe, and explore their personal practice at their own pace. Whether you’re working through familiar sequences, stretching, meditating, or simply enjoying time on the mat, this is an opportunity to practice independently in the studio environment.

Self Practice takes place every Tuesday from 7:00–8:45 AM. Members are welcome to arrive and leave anytime during this window. The room will be heated, music will be playing, and all studio props will be available for use. Printed Ashtanga sequence guides will also be available for those who wish to follow along.

This session is fully self-guided. There will not be a teacher present to provide instruction or assistance. Please enter quietly, be respectful of others practicing, and follow all studio policies. Headphones are welcome; however, speaker use and phone conversations are not permitted.

This offering is available to Tula Yoga members only. Drop-ins and class packs are not eligible for Self Practice.


COMMUNITY CLASSES

Community Classes are part of our commitment to making yoga more accessible while continuing to build a strong and welcoming studio community.

These classes are offered at a reduced $10 drop-in rate and are included for all active members and students using a New Client Special. They’re a great opportunity to keep your practice consistent, invite friends or family to experience the studio, or simply enjoy an evening of yoga at a more accessible price.

Community Classes take place on Friday evenings and include two different class styles.

Friday Community Class Schedule:
• Hot Beginner Yoga – 6:45 PM
• Yin Yoga – 8:00 PM

Whether you’re a long-time member or joining us for the first time, these classes are an open invitation to practice together and support a thriving yoga community.
