Class Descriptions

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
We are dedicated to improving the overall lives of all of our clients. Every week we offer over 40 classes ranging from gentle beginner to hot power yoga. Check out our weekly schedule for time, style, temperature and instructor.

RESTORATIVE YOGA

Our restorative yoga classes offer a variety of long, slow, and gentle stretches to promote rest and relaxation. This is a floor based class using props to support students in poses. Most poses are held anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes. These classes are gentle, slow, approachable and are great for anyone of any age or fitness level.

No yoga experience needed. • Temperature range: 76-80 degrees.


YIN YOGA

Our yin yoga classes offer a variety of long, slow, and deep stretches designed to promote flexibility and mobility. This is a mostly floor based class using props to support students in poses. Most poses are held anywhere from 2 to 7 minutes. These classes are slow, approachable and are great for anyone of any fitness level.

No yoga experience needed. • Temperature range: 78-82 degrees.


CHAIR Yoga

Our chair yoga classes are a gentle practice in which postures are performed while seated and/or with the aid of a chair. Chair yoga classes are designed for those with limited range of motion. When standing poses are included in a chair yoga class, the chair is used to help with and improve balance. The use prop to support students in poses will be offered and encouraged. These classes are gentle, slow, approachable and are great for anyone of any age or fitness level.

No yoga experience needed. • Temperature range: 74-78 degrees.


GENTLE Beginner Yoga

Our gentle beginner yoga classes offer a moderate physical challenge while being very approachable. A variety of gentle yoga poses will be offered, including seated, supine, two feet standing and prone, pieced together to improve body awareness, range of motion and nurture the body. The use of props will be offered and encouraged to support students in poses. While this class will offer multiple breaks, students are encouraged to take additional breaks and modify to their own personal needs. These classes are gentle, slow, approachable and are great for anyone of any age or fitness level.

No yoga experience needed. • Temperature range: 74-78 degrees.


Beginner Yoga

Our beginner yoga classes offer a physical challenge while being approachable. A variety of yoga poses will be offered, including isolated core work, standing balance poses, chaturangas and other strength based yoga poses, pieced together to challenge, strengthen and nurture the body. The use of props will be offered and encouraged to support students in poses. Students are encouraged to take breaks and modify to their own personal needs. These classes are slow, approachable and are great for anyone of any fitness level.

No yoga experience needed. • Temperature range: 76-80 degrees.


HOT BEGINNER YOGA

Our hot beginner yoga classes offer a physical challenge while being approachable. A variety of yoga poses will be offered, including isolated core work, standing balance poses, chaturangas and other strength based yoga poses, pieced together to challenge, strengthen and nurture the body. The use of props will be offered and encouraged to support students in poses. Students are encouraged to take breaks and modify to their own personal needs. These classes are slow, approachable and are great for anyone of any fitness level.

No yoga experience needed. • Temperature range: 90-95 degrees.


ALL LEVELS YOGA

Our all levels yoga classes offer a physical challenge with smooth transitions to build strength, improve range of motion and nurture the body. Instructors will give options for more modifications to meet the needs of the beginner and advanced student. Students are encouraged to take breaks and modify to their own personal needs.

Some yoga experience recommended. • Temperature range: 78-82 degrees.


SCULPT YOGA

Our sculpt yoga classes offer a strong physical challenge to tone and strengthen the body. Resistance bands and hand held weights will be used while doing traditional yoga poses. Students will be guided to connect their breath to their movements in various forms of intensity, including cardio exercises, isolated core work and other dynamic movement. Students are encouraged to take breaks and modify to their own personal needs.

POWER YOGA

Our power yoga classes offer a strong physical and mental challenge. Students will be guided to connect their breath to their movements in various forms of intensity, including a faster pace or longer holds. Students will be given options for inversions and arm balances, everyone is always encouraged to try new things while honoring their level of comfort. Students are encouraged to take breaks and modify to their own personal needs.

Yoga experience strongly recommended. • Temperature range: 84-88 degrees.

Our hot power yoga classes offer a strong physical and mental challenge. Students will be guided to connect their breath to their movements in various forms of intensity, including a faster pace or longer holds. Students will be given options for inversions and arm balances, everyone is always encouraged to try new things while honoring their level of comfort. Students are encouraged to take breaks and modify to their own personal needs.

ASHTANGA PRIMARY SERIES

The Led Ashtanga Primary Series class is a set sequence of asanas (poses) and vinyasas (counted breath to movement). Each pose will have a drishti (focused gaze) and banda (energy lock) to help calm the mind, deepen the practice and enhance concentration. The instructor will call out the pose names, counts, gaze and engagements. These are focused, highly energetic classes is known as the Yoga Chikitsa (yoga therapy). The purposes of the practice is to cleanse and tone the body and mind. Props and modifications will be offered to support the practice. Students are encouraged to take breaks and modify to their own personal needs.
